Golf
Once again the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) has chosen the Algarve for one of it's prestigious awards. The Hotel Dona Filipa & San Lorenzo Golf Resort was voted "Golf Resort of the Year - Europe" for 2009.
This follows awards for the Algarve in previous years as "Established Golf Destination of the Year" in both 2000 and 2006. We are very proud of the awards for the region as we have gained preference over such destinations as Andalucia, Arizona, California, Costa Brava, Dubai, France, New Zealand, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Valencia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Turkey, Argentina, UK, China, Austria, Mauritius, Italy, Barbados, Mexico, Egypt, Thailand, Lisbon and South Africa.
